Evil Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman) lusts for the beautiful wife of a London barber (Johnny Depp) and transports him to Australia for a crime he did not commit. Returning after 15 years and calling himself Sweeney Todd, the now-mad man vows revenge, applying his razor to unlucky customers and shuttling the bodies down to Mrs. Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter), who uses them in her meat-pie shop. Though many fall to his blade, he will not be satisfied until he slits Turpin's throat.

Dead Man Walking
As death row inmate Matthew Poncelet (Sean Penn) nears his execution date, he calls upon Sister Helen Prejean (Susan Sarandon) to help him with one last appeal, maintaining that he is innocent of the murders of a young couple. Poncelet begins to form a bond with Prejean, and she visits both his family and the relatives of the victims, hoping to learn more about the case. As things begin to look bleak for Poncelet, Prejean does all that she can to comfort and console the hardened convict.
Foxfire
Five high school girls turn the tables on a teacher who makes sexual advances, but the principal punishes them instead. In order to get her confiscated art supplies, Maddy Wirtz (Hedy Burress) and her new friends, including the fearless Legs (Angelina Jolie) and the disturbed Goldie (Jenny Shimizu), sneak into the school, leading to an accidental fire. The incident cements the girls' friendship, but attacks by the football team and their own personal demons threaten to pull the group apart.
