Dick, "Minority Report" is an action-detective thriller set in Washington D.C. in 2054, where police utilize a psychic technology to arrest and convict murderers before they commit their crime. Tom Cruise plays the head of this Precrime unit and is himself accused of the future murder of a man he hasn't even met.

She is taken to a hotel room to hide until it is time for her testimony, and a romance begins to blossom between the superficially hard-boiled Sherry and police officer Vince Striker (Brian Keith). With time before the trial running out, Costain will stop at nothing to kill her before she can reach the witness stand.

While investigating a corrupt judge (Gary Cole), a detective (John Corbett) becomes romantically involved with the man's wife (Julie Benz).

Master criminal Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro) is trying to control the rogue actions of one of his men, while also planning one last big heist before retiring. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Hanna (Al Pacino) attempts to track down McCauley as he deals with the chaos in his own life, including the infidelity of his wife (Diane Venora) and the mental health of his stepdaughter (Natalie Portman). McCauley and Hanna discover a mutual respect, even as they try to thwart each other's plans.
