College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. The most popular college football teams in the country are Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, and LSU Tigers. NC State at Miami
NCAAFThe Wolfpack set out to play spoiler once more by visiting the No. 15 Hurricanes. NC State upset then-No. 8 Georgia Tech 48-36 prior to its bye Nov. 1. Freshman Jayden Scott (NCSU) scored and set a new career high with 196 rushing yards in the win.
Texas at Georgia
NCAAFThe No. 5 Bulldogs host the No. 10 Longhorns. In 2024, Georgia beat Texas 30-15 in the regular season, and 22-19 in overtime in the SEC title game. Texas held off then-No. 9 Vanderbilt for a fourth straight win Nov. 1. Georgia has won five in a row.
Virginia Tech at Florida State
NCAAFThe Seminoles (4-5, 1-5) finish their run at Doak Campbell Stadium for 2025 by hosting the Hokies (3-6, 2-3 ACC). The schools traded decisions in their last seven meetings, with Florida State prevailing 39-17 in the most recent date in 2023.
South Carolina at Texas A&M
NCAAFThe No. 3 Aggies (9-0, 6-0 SEC) line up against the Gamecocks (3-6, 1-6) at Kyle Field. South Carolina won two of the last three meetings, but is 0-5 when facing Texas A&M at College Station. The Aggies are 9-0 for the first time since 1992.
