Women’s College Volleyball is a highly competitive NCAA sport favored by millions of viewers worldwide. The teams competing in Women’s College Volleyball are composed of athletes from universities across the country. Every year there are regular season conference matches, culminating in the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship. Among the most popular teams in the history of women’s college volleyball are Stanford, Nebraska, and Texas. Those three teams have won a combined 18 NCAA Championships and continue to be the top contenders each year.In the NCAA Volleyball season, teams typically play a 30-match regular season with 20 of those matches ended by the end of October. In November, teams compete in conference championships, then participate in regional tournaments to find the 16 teams that will compete in the National Championship tournament. Historically, Nebraska has been the most successful NCAA Women’s Volleyball team, leading with five national titles, followed by Stanford and Texas.
