The pitch for this series was obviously persuasive: a behind-the-scenes peek into the imaginative world of infomercial-product inventors and the man who tries to sell them, noted pitchman Anthony Sullivan, from the initial boardroom meeting to the filming of the infomercial. Sullivan's longtime business partner Billy Mays, who took part in the first season of "Pitchmen," passed away suddenly in June 2009.
