While deep beneath the ocean's surface, the U.S. ballistic missile submarine Colorado receives orders, over a line designated for use only when the homeland has been wiped out, to fire nuclear weapons at Pakistan. When the crew refuses to fire without confirmation of orders, the Colorado is fired on and those aboard declared enemies of the United States. Having no where else to turn, the captain brings the men and women of the Colorado to an island, where they find refuge and a chance at a new life, even as they work to clear their names and go home.
