This documentary series highlights some of the work done by people who challenge nature and seek out its limits to reveal some of the amazing phenomena that science can create in the great outdoors, including a physics professor who grows snowflakes and a soundscape ecologist, a researcher who uses sound to track how an ecosystem changes over time.
