They also saw Pictures of debris that prosecutors said came from the defendant's black Lexus.

But her lawyers argued that it did not break because she hit O'Keefe. Instead, police planted red and clear plastic at the scene outside the Albert home to frame Read.

Police wanted to examine the area where John O'Keefe was found unresponsive in a snowbank. Next on the stand was Louis Jutras, the manager of information systems for the town of Canton. Jutras discussed surveillance footage he provided to state police during the course of the investigation.

So, investigators used a type of testing to get an estimate of how much alcohol may have been in her system hours before an official blood test was done.
