Cowboy Gene Autry and Frog Millhouse (Smiley Burnette) transport a herd of horses to Dunbar, South Africa, at the request of Gene's brother, Tex. Unknown to Gene, diamond miner Tex and his partner, Barclay, have run afoul of saloon owner John Cardigan, who wants to take over their mine. Tex disappears after Barclay is murdered, just as Gene and Frog reach Dunbar. The men grow suspicious when they can't find Tex, and investigate with the help of Barclay's daughter, Gwen (Maxine Doyle).

A Lawless Street
