S1, EP19 "Bursting Point"
Capt. Gloval receives an offer from Ontario Quadrant to take in all civilians of Macross City who wish to disembark, defying the Earth government's disavowal of their existence; an attack forces the SDF-1 to activate its new, untested defense system.
S1, EP20 "Paradise Lost"
Following the disaster in Ontario, the SDF-1 receives orders to leave Earth or face consequences; the Zentraedi spies return to report on their experiences aboard the ship, further confusing the aliens as to the true nature of humans.
S1, EP21 "A New Dawn"
The SDF-1's first movie, starring Minmei and Kyle, premieres aboard the ship and gives the Zentraedi more mistaken impressions; Rick awkwardly runs into Lisa, and when an attack forces the SDF-1 to transform, the two become trapped together.
S1, EP22 "Battle Hymn"
Having enjoyed their time aboard the SDF-1, Bron, Rico and Konda convince a group of fellow Zentraedi to defect and join the humans; Khyron stages an unauthorized assault, which happens to coincide with a concert featuring Minmei.
