With the popularity of Las Vegas-based "Pawn Stars," History is expanding the franchise and heading south with "Cajun Pawn Stars," set at the Silver Dollar Pawn & Jewelry Center in Alexandria, La. Jimmie "Big Daddy" DeRamus has owned and operated the shop with his family for more than two decades. DeRamus is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to historic collectibles, which is not surprising given that his store houses more than 100,000 artifacts. Much like the original "Pawn Stars," in addition to the items that are brought into the store, the show focuses on Jimmie and his family -- younger brother Johnnie and daughter Tammie -- as they run the store as well as the experts that are brought in to help appraise the items.

The guys check out a rare 1921 Tommy gun; Jimmie and Tammie meet a guy looking to sell a land grant signed by President Andrew Jackson; Joker believes he's struck it rich with a scarce pristine 1929 gold coin.

The guys check out a 1975 Mac Fire Truck; an old railroad track known as a Sherman Necktie; Joker pops by in hopes of selling his classic 1950s popcorn machine.

The guys check out original handwritten lyrics to "My Country 'Tis of Thee"; Jimmie is tempted to buy a vintage coin-operated kiddie pig ride; Johnnie and Tammie check out a Bulgarian version of Russia's popular AK rifle.

The team battles for a rare medieval Saxon helmet; one of the very first X-Men comic books is brought into the shop; Chester hopes to hunt down some cash for his crossbow.
