This U.S. adaptation -- set at a paper company based in Scranton, Pa. -- has a similar documentary style to that of the Ricky Gervais-led British original. It features the Dunder-Mifflin staff, which includes characters based on roles in the British show -- and, quite possibly, people with whom you work in your office. There's Jim, the likable employee who's a bit of an every man. Jim has a thing for receptionist-turned-sales-rep Pam -- because office romances are always a good idea! There's also Dwight, the co-worker who is successful but devoid of social skills and common sense.

Erin and Gabe host a "Glee" viewing party; Michael is upset when people refer to Gabe as his boss; Andy becomes increasingly jealous.

Michael helps convince people to invest in Ryan's Internet company; trying to capitalize on Thanksgiving, Dwight creates a hay festival in the parking lot; a new policy prevents Jim from earning commission.

Michael decides he must stop China before it takes over the United States; Pam threatens to move the company to a new building.

Michael is happy when Toby takes a leave of absence and corporate sends Holly Flax to fill in; Pam must plan a second Christmas party when Michael wants the party to be on the day of Holly's return to Scranton.
