Contestants on this dating game show don't want to hear the elimination line "I'm sorry, but you have too much baggage." How much is acceptable among three contestants in each episode is determined by the "dater," who hears the candidates' intimate secrets and hidden flaws, as well as their attempts to deflect these traits by describing their positive attributes. After two elimination rounds leave one remaining contestant, it's the dater's turn to reveal his or her own baggage ... and then the contestant decides to go forward with the date or not. Jerry Springer hosts.

Matthew may have turned his mother in to the IRS, may have been charged with three DUIs in the past year, or may take his dates to the STD clinic.

Shannon may have to check in with her parole officer every week, may forbid her boyfriends from talking to other women, or her ex may have caught her in bed with two men.

Amy may have dumped her fiancé by text message, may have a 24-hour webcam in her house, or may be a fame-chasing gold-digger.

A dater must choose between men whose baggage includes sleeping in footed pajamas and fainting at the sight of spiders.
