Ambitious young cops try to prove themselves in their high-stakes careers, in which the smallest mistake can have deadly consequences. At the core of the close-knit group is perfectionist Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym), whose father was a homicide detective before he burned out on the job. Andy wrestles with a dilemma, while the other rookies are ready to duke it out at a charity event.

Andy goes undercover as a prostitute during a citywide sting operation; Dov and Andy's attempt to impress Sgt. Boyko backfires.

Andy and Traci are among the first responders to a home invasion at an upscale address; when the crisis appears to be over, Traci hurries away to handle a personal emergency; Andy must confront the armed suspect alone.

A fatal traffic collision reveals a shocking truth; Andy and Callaghan's relationship gets complicated when they disagree over the handling of a witness in a murder case.
