Ambitious young cops try to prove themselves in their high-stakes careers, in which the smallest mistake can have deadly consequences. At the core of the close-knit group is perfectionist Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym), whose father was a homicide detective before he burned out on the job. The series follows Andy and her four colleagues -- Dov Epstein, Gail Peck, Traci Nash and Chris Diaz -- as they experience the trials, triumphs and tribulations of police work, as well as its effect on their personal lives.

Andy and Gail go undercover at a drug-riddled club; Traci struggles with her feelings for detective Barber; a woman files a complaint against Dov; Andy opens up to Sam.

Andy and Swarek investigate the theft of severed heads for a medical lab; Andy puts Luke and herself in danger.

As the cops try to recover from an explosive event, they must also investigate a series of arsons; a man from Chris' past emerges.

Chris and Dovare are trapped in a dangerous meth house during a sting operation; Luke helps Jo with a surveillance job in a hotel room.
