Sydney Powell's father, Brenda's husband, takes the witness stand; prosecutors claim Brenda was attacked while on the phone with school administrators.

Prosecutors claim that Brenda Powell was fatally attacked while she was on the phone with administrators from her daughter's school; jurors listen to testimony from a dean who worked at the college that the defendant attended before she was expelled.

The second college dean testifying for jurors knew the defendant as a student at University of Mount Union remembers the events leading up to the murder.

According to the college dean on the stand, within a week before the murder, University of Mount Union officials forced the defendant to leave the school. When it was time for Brenda Powell to reach out to her daughter's school administrators about her expulsion, the State contended she was attacked by Sydney and stabbed to death. Next to the stand was the forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy on the victim. Dr. Robert Schott went into graphic detail for jurors.
