The locals then strike gold and Roaring Camp becomes a boomtown, attracting the child's criminal father, Don (Charles Brokaw), who doesn't know he has a son and is scheming to get the riches.

Outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) terrorizes 1800s Arizona, especially the Southern Railroad, until he is finally captured.
