The Eagles are desperately searching for their second win of the season today with a victory over the Western Bulldogs.
This Week 11 matchup has last-place West Coast looking to turn around its season against the No. 9 ranked Bulldogs. So far this year, West Coast only has one win while Western is 5-5 on the season.Â

The Eagles’ latest match was a 21.12-13.8 (138-86) defeat against the Giants. Scoring goals in the match were Winder with three and Cripps, Dixon and Waterman each with two goals. Clark, Darling, Duggan, and Shuey each scored one goal apiece. The Eagles’ last victory was against Collingwood (87-74) on April 9.Â
The Bulldogs’ latest match was a 15.16-13.9 (106-87) win over the Gold Coast Suns. Western was able to get on the board first with a behind from Lachlan McNeiland and the club was able to maintain its lead for the rest of the match. Marcus Bontempelli and Aaron Naughton had three goals and two behinds to lead the Bulldogs to victory.
This will be the only time that these two clubs will face each other this regular season and West Coast desperately needs a win not only to help with its position in the standings but to help its pride, as well.
