The No. 15 ranked team in the nation, Oklahoma State, will stay on the road for the third and final game against Big 12 rival Kansas State, at Tionton Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas, on Sunday afternoon. The Cowboys, ranked No. 15, are 25-12 overall this season and have risen to 10-5 against Big 12 teams. They opened up the month of April with a 9-0 shutout win over Oral Roberts before winning two of three games against Oklahoma. They proceeded to win a single game against Wichita State 9-5 following it up with a sweep of Cincinnati at home by a run differential of 30-15. Earlier this week, they lost a single game to Dallas Baptist 8-7. Second baseman Aidan Meola has been the best all-around batter for the team this season. He is batting .348 with five home runs and 33 RBIs on 39 hits. Sam Garcia has been the team’s best pitcher with a 4-3 record and a 3.47 ERA. He has 69 strikeouts and nine walks over 49.1 innings.

The Wildcats were once ranked this season inside of the nation’s top-25 rankings. However, they are 22-14 now overall this season and just 7-8 against Big 12 teams. They lost two of three games against UCF before getting swept by Oklahoma in the two series for this team heading into this weekend. They also picked up a one-game loss to UConn on the road before barely beating Northeastern on the road 9-8 earlier this week.
