The club took another 3-0 finish to advance to the final four of the competition, thanks to goals from Mitrović, Michael and Malcom.

Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad needed penalty kicks in the club’s round of 32 matchup against Al Kholood, following a 1-1 finish after extra time. Talal Haji put away the decisive spot kick to put the club through to the round of 16.

There, Al-Ittihad beat Al Feiha 3-0 thanks to goals from Abderrazak Hamdallah (two) and Karim Benzema.

Finally, in the quarterfinals, Al-Ittihad beat Al-Faisaly 4-0, where Hamdallah, N’Golo Kanté and Ahmed Hegazi all found the back of the net to put the club through to the semifinals.
