How to Watch Nuggets at Timberwolves Game 6: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets look to close out the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 6 today. Watch the game live free on Fubo.

What a difference missing a team dinner can make on a playoff series. Since Aaron Gordon missed a team dinner after Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals, the Denver Nuggets (3-2) have won three straight games and are on the verge of advancing to the Western Conference Finals. Through the first six games of the playoffs, Denver was sleepwaking, not playing its best basketball until the Minnesota Timberwolves (2-3) knocked them to the mat in Game 2. Since then Denver has been elite led by the elevated play of Jamal Murray and a reminder that Nikola Jokic is unquestionably the best player in the NBA today.

In games three through five, Murray has played with much better pace and confidence averaging 19.6 points and 5.6 assists on 50% shooting from the field and 5-12 from three. Gordon missing the team dinner (and starting the teams offense to jumble the Minnesota defense) has opened up the star guards ability to attack this elite defense.

The other factor in Denver’s last three wins has been Jokic. He went from playing his worst game of the playoffs this season in Game 2 to putting on a show over the last three games capped off with arguably the best game of his carer.

In games three through five Jokic has been more assertive averaging 33.0 points, 9.7 assists, 9.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1.7 blocks per game on 60-36-79 shooting splits. He was unguardable in Game 5 finishing with 40 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds with zero turnovers to guide Denver to a third straight win and just one more from the Western Conference Finals.
