Stanford goes for its fifth straight win on Sunday afternoon when it hosts Arizona State in women’s water polo
Stanford welcomes rival Arizona State to town on Sunday afternoon looking to win its fifth straight match. The Cardinal come into Sunday having won four in a row, all of which have been ranked wins. They lost two of their first three matches this season, but have since been red-hot as they have won 12 of their last 13 matches. Their lone loss was on February 24th when they fell to No. 1 UCLA 9-6. Since that loss, they have won against No. 6 Cal, No. 21 San Jose State, No. 24 San Diego State and No. 19 Harvard. The last two wins have been impressive as they beat the Aztecs and Crimson by a combined 36-10 score. This will be the only meeting between the two schools during the regular season and the Cardinal are looking to take down yet another ranked opponent.

The Sun Devils, though, come into Sunday on a six-match winning streak and looking to stay hot and get a third straight ranked win.
The Sun Devils are coming off back-to-back five-goal wins over Harvard and San Jose State and are looking to do much of the same to the Cardinal.
The Sun Devils are 20-4 overall this season and 1-1 in conference play. Four of their last five matches will be conference matches and they are looking to show they belong at the top of the MPSF.
