Week 2 action in the UFL continues on Saturday night. In the second game of Saturday’s double header, the Arlington Renegades (0-1) take on the St. Louis Battlehawks (0-1) at The Dome at America’s Center. This is the home opener for St. Louis, after the Battlehawks had, far and away, the best attendance in the XFL last year. They averaged over 35,000 fans per game, and another packed house is expected on Saturday which should mean a great environment for some football.

Both of these teams are looking to get into the win column for the first time this year after losses last week. The Renegades hosted the Birmingham Stallions, and fell 27-14. The Battlehawks played a nailbiter at the Michigan Panthers, falling 18-16.

Both of these teams played in the XFL last season, prior to the merger with the USFL. St. Louis finished 7-3, but missed the playoffs in the competitive North Division. Arlington snuck into the playoffs at 4-6 in the South Division, but upset the Houston Roughnecks in the Division Final and then the D.C. Defenders to win the Championship. St. Louis won the lone matchup between the two teams last year, a 24-11 win at The Dome in Week 4.
