The Chicago Cubs begin a three-game series with the Houston Astros on Tuesday night. The Cubs come into the game looking to bounce back from a loss on Sunday to the Miami Marlins. The Cubs split a four-game set with the last-place Marlins and are needing to get back on track. The Cubs will turn to Jordan Wicks in the opener of the series. Wicks is still searching for this first win of the season as he comes into Tuesday 0-2 with a 5.29 ERA. Wicks has pitched well at times this season, but he has yet to make it out of the fifth inning in any of his four starts.

The Astros have been slumping lately as they have lost five of their last six games and are coming off a series loss to the Washington Nationals over the weekend.
It has not been a good start to the year for the Astros as they now sit at just 7-16 and in last place in the AL West. They are a game and a half back of the lowly Oakland Athletics for fourth place in the division.
