The Baltimore Orioles look to win a second straight game on Sunday when they take on the Oakland Athletics. The Orioles lost the opener on Friday in extra innings, but bounced back to shut out the Athletics on Saturday 7-0. The Orioles have now won nine of their last 12 games and it has pushed their record to 17-9 on the season. The Orioles will now turn to Albert Suarez on the mound in the finale. Suarez will be making just his third start of the season and he has yet to give up a run. He has gone five and two-thirds innings in both of his two starts against the Los Angeles Angels and Minnesota Twins. The Orioles have won both of those starts.

The A’s will counter with Paul Blackburn as they look to clinch a huge upset series win. Blackburn has been the best pitcher for the A’s this season as he comes into Sunday 2-1 with a 2.03 ERA.
He didn’t give up a run in his first three starts, but hasn’t pitched as well in his last two giving up three to the St. Louis Cardinals and four to the New York Yankees.
