The Toronto Blue Jays (13-16) and Pittsburgh Pirates (12-16) meet at LECOM Park in Bradenton, Florida, on Monday afternoon before breaking camp and playing games that count starting on Thursday. Right-hander Kevin Gausman will start for the Blue Jays after missing all of the Grapefruit League with a shoulder injury. He’s expected to throw 60 to 65 pitches in a bid to avoid starting the regular season on the injured list. Non-roster invitee Joey Votto may also return after spraining his ankle during his first appearance with his hometown team on March 17. Pittsburgh catcher Yasmani Grandal is dealing with an injured foot and won’t be cleared to run until next week at the earliest.
