The Durham Bulls look to salvage a split of their 6-game series with the host Worcester Red Sox on Sunday at Polar Park

A Saturday doubleheader sweep puts the Durham Bulls (8-12) in position to salvage a split of their six-game series against the Worcester Red Sox (8-11) at Polar Park in Worcester on Sunday afternoon. Durham lost the first three games of the series before Saturday’s victories snapped the four-game winning streak of the Red Sox. The Bulls, the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, feature infielder Junior Caminero. He is the top-ranked prospect in the organization and ranked No. 4 on the MLB Pipeline 100. Left-hander Mason Montgomery, Tampa Bay’s No. 8 prospect, also holds a spot on the Durham roster. The top-ranked player for Worcester, catcher Nathan Hockey, is ranked No. 16 in the Boston Red Sox chain.
