Tennessee looks to win a second straight game on Sunday afternoon when it hosts Georgia. The Volunteers lost the opener to the Bulldogs on Friday 16-2, but bounced back to win a slugfest 16-11 on Saturday. in the crazy game on Saturday, the Volunteers led 3-0 after the first but gave up seven runs in the top of the third. They would come all the way back with six runs in the fifth to take a 10-8 lead. The Bulldogs would tie it with two runs in the seventh, but the Volunteers would once again score six more runs in the bottom of the inning to take back control.

The Volunteers hit two grand slams and four home runs to get the wild win and improve to 4-4 in the SEC this season.

The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Bulldogs and dropped them back to 4-4 in the SEC.

The Bulldogs were coming off a big sweep of Alabama last weekend and looked great in the opener, but just couldn’t slow down the powerful Volunteers offense for a second consecutive day.

Sunday they will look to get better pitching as they try and steal a huge road series away from Tennessee.
