Their most recent win came against the New York Yankees (12-5) at home on Monday, in the first game of a three-game series at the Rogers Centre. The Blue Jays scored twice in the second inning and once in the third to take the game 3-1. Meanwhile, the pitching staff – led by starter Chris Bassitt – held the Yankees to just four hits. On Tuesday, the two teams square off again for the middle game of this American League East series.
