After the Rockies completed a surprising three-game sweep of the Padres over the weekend, Colorado begins a three-game series on the road against Miami at Marlins Park on Tuesday.
Despite an impressive weekend sweep over the second-place Padres, the Rockies are still in the basement in the NL West with a 30-37 record this season. On the other hand, Miami finds itself fourth in the NL East, only ahead of the Nationals with a 29-36 record so far in the 2022 campaign.

The Rockies completed the sweep over the Padres with an 8-3 victory over San Diego on Sunday afternoon. Colorado starter Antonio Senzatela went six innings allowing just one run, while Randal Grichuk’s three-run home run capped off a five-run fifth inning for the Rockies to pull away from the Padres in the series finale.
As for the Marlins, Miami was blanked by the Mets in a 6-0 victory for New York in Monday’s series finale. Mets starter David Peterson pitched a shutout into the sixth inning, as the Mets offense manufactured runs to take the series against the Marlins.
