The Houston Astros go for the two-game series sweep in Mexico City when they face-off against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.
It turns out that a change of scenery and playing the Colorado Rockies is all the Houston Astros really needed. Houston and Colorado started this two-game series for the MLB World Tour: Mexico City Series at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú. These teams came into this series with similar records, but the Astros had much higher expectations this year. The Astros put that all behind them in a big way in the opener on Saturday, winning 12-4 to end a five-game losing streak. Yordan Alvarez was huge in this momentous win, going 3-for-5 with two homers and three RBIs. Houston was the big fan favorite with the Mexico City faithful and it was in firm control before scoring six runs in the last two innings.
