The sit-start decisions every week are some of the hardest that fantasy players come by. Here are a few proven for Week 6.
When it comes to fantasy football, the hardest part of the middle of the season is waving your way through injuries, disappointments and trials that come to your team. However, with those things also comes the opportunity to give you and up-coming players a spot in FLEX play for some of those bigger name guys that aren’t performing. Here are those sit and start decisions that might make or break your Week 6.

Start: Tyjae Spears, RB, Tennessee Titans
Tyjae Spears started with just getting his foot in the door and stealing some passing snaps from Derrick Henry. However, fast foward five weeks and Spears is seeing five-to-seven carries per game and averaging five-to-eight yards per carry. He was able to find the end zone last week putting him in the top-10 running backs in fantasy football. He is also seeing a consistent four-to-five targets and three-to-four receptions per game as well.
Sit: Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots
For a running back drafted as high as Rhamondre Stevenson in fantasy drafts this year, his production has been all over the place and mostly non-existent. Las Vegas has been a friendly running defense, but Stevenson has yet to top 60 yards rushing this season and has only gone over 50 yards in two of the five games while finding the end zone once in that same span.

Start: Jordan Addison, WR, Minnesota Vikings
With the news of Justin Jefferson missing the next our games, unless Kirk Cousins gets traded then Jordan Addison will be a must start FLEX in almost every format. The rookie from USC caught six passes for 64 yards on nine targets with a touchdowns after Jefferson left the game last week. I would expect him to top five catches for 52 yards and a touchdown this week.
Sit: Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions
Jared Goff has excelled this season as the Lions starting quarterback. He has been a top 20 quarterback in four of the five contests while breaking into the top seven twice. However, Goff is noticeably different on the road and at home. In two games on the road, he has scored 16 and 14 points while at home he is in the average range of 25-30. With him being on the road against a good pass defense, I don’t expect much from him this week.

Start: Raheem Mostert, RB, Miami Dolphins
Like Jefferson and Addison, Raheem Mostert is looking to make the most of an injury to starting running back De’Von Achane. Even with Achane, Mostert has been averaging 21.04 points per game this season. Without Achane, I would expect Mostert to top 100 yards on the ground with a pair of touchdowns which should make him a highly valuable FLEX play.
Sit: DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
DeVonta Smith has been inconsistent at best this season for Philadelphia. Smith has almost had a good game every other game, but he specifically has been a no-show in games against good passing defenses. Well, the New York Jets have a pair of cornerbacks who are not shy to the ball or good receivers. The last two times this matchup has been seen, Smith has seen seven and two points in those two games.
