The San Francisco Giants will take the field at Fenway Park for the second game of a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night. The Red Sox took the first game 4-0 Tuesday at home. Cooper Criswell picked up his second win of the season, pitching five scoreless innings with four strikeouts and one walk with only two hits allowed. The offense came from RBIs from Rob Refsnyder (two), Jarren Duran and Wilyer Abreu, who hit an RBI triple in the fourth inning. There was no more scoring after that. San Francisco is undecided as to who will take the mound for the team to start the game tonight. However, if the offense doesn’t get going and put up runs, whoever it is will have to pitch incredibly well for the team to come away with a win.
The hometown team, Boston, will give the ball to Kutter Crawford. The right-hander is 1-1 this season with a 1.35 ERA and 35 strikeouts over 33.1 innings.
