How to Watch Paris Saint-Germain vs. Rennes: Stream Coupe de France Live, TV Channel

Rennes will look to revive some winning form against PSG on Wednesday in pursuit of a place in the Coupe de France final.

Three-time Coupe de France champion Rennes is just 90 minutes away from contesting its first final in five years—provided it can overcome the minor obstacle of record winner Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday. Les Rouge et Noirs most recently featured in the Coupe de France decider when it last won the tournament in 2019 when it just so happened to get the better of their midweek opponent via penalties. By their own standards, Les Parisiens are in something of a drought after not playing a Coupe de France final since 2021 and will be full of motivation to correct course on home soil.

Despite a somewhat underwhelming Ligue 1 campaign thus far, Rennes’ recent record against PSG is among the more impressive in France after managing to avoid defeat in their last two encounters at the Parc des Princes.

And that record would have looked much more impressive were it not for Goncalo Ramos’ 97th-minute penalty equalizer when they last met in February, rescuing a 1-1 draw at the death.

That proved devastating for the visiting team after Amine Gouiri’s opener put Rennes ahead for two thirds of the match, almost replicating its 2-0 win in Paris last March.

Things are pretty peachy for PSG otherwise, and a 2-0 win over Marseille in Le Classique on Sunday took Luis Enrique’s side one step closer to retaining its Ligue 1 crown in quick fashion.

The capital giant is 12 points clear at the league summit with only seven games to play and will claim a third title in as many seasons provided it wins its next three.

Rennes, on the other hand, has looked distracted competing on multiple fronts this term and sits eighth after a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Strasbourg over the weekend.

All in all, Julien Stephan’s men can afford some confidence at the Parc des Princes considering they’ve actually won three times in their last six meetings with PSG, who has only won twice in that span.
