How to Watch Caitlin Clark and Womens Basketball All Season

Watch Caitlin Clark and Iowa women’s college basketball all season long on Fubo. Start with a free trial today.

It is not often that a single player can capture the imagination and collective attention of basketball fans and casual fans alike. Last year, that is exactly what Iowaā€™s Caitlin Clark did as she led her team to the national championship, defeating the defending champions in the Final Four and becoming a triple-double threat every night. Clark enters this season in womenā€™s college basketball as the reigning National Player of the Year, the presumptive favorite to win that award again and with a team that has its eyes on going one step further this season: winning the national championship.

Last season, Clark finished the season with five triple-doubles, averaging 27.8 points, 8.6 assists and 7.2 rebounds per game on 47-39-84 percent splits in 38 games.Ā

Clark will have a new challenge in front of her this season with Monika Czinano and McKenna Warnock both moving on after their senior years, taking away the team’s best interior scorer and outside shooter respectively. Czinano was one of the most efficient interior scorers in the country last year, shooting 67.% from the field and averaging 17.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, both second on the team.

Clark will look to use her greatness and gravity on the court to propel returning rotation players Kate Martin, Hannah Stuelke and Gabbie Marshall into bigger roles.

The team also welcomes Iowa State transfer Kylie Feuerbach as well as freshmen Ava Jones and Kennise Johnson.

Jones comes in as the 84th-ranked recruit per ESPN as a four-star wing who will be a major part of the future of the Hawkeyes and potentially this season.

During the NCAA tournament, Clark scored or assisted on 63.1% of the Hawkeyes’ points. In six games, the team scored 515 points, with Clark scoring 191 of them, assisting on another 134 points for a total of 325 points created by the most dynamic offensive player in the history of womenā€™s college basketball.

Heading into this season, head coach Lisa Bluder has the most dynamic offensive player in the history of womenā€™s college basketball leading the way, but spreading the playmaking responsibility could help the Hawkeyes get to the top of the mountain.

When Clark has the ball, she is the best pick-and-roll ball-handler and also the best volume pull-up three-point shooter in the country.

Clark is also one of the best three-point shooters overall in the country but allowing her to take some plays off as a playmaker to instead spread the floor with her gravity as a 38.9% three-point shooter (37.7% career) has the potential to open up the offense even more.

Kate Martin showed the ability last season to be a complementary playmaker and scorer, finishing the season averaging a career-best 7.7 points along with 3.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds on 47-41-83 percent splits.

Getting the Clark-Martin duo off early in the season, starting today in exhibition play, will show the rest of the country that the Hawkeyes are contenders and have multiple ways to dominate this year.

The success of the Hawkeyes along with the results of the 2024 WNBA draft lottery will also determine the future of Clark, who can come back for another season in the 2024-2025 season or potentially join the expansion franchise headed to the WNBA.
