The Aquabats! Super Show!
Christian Jacobs, co-creator, writer and director of "Yo Gabba Gabba," is the mastermind of another live-action/animated series hybrid, this one featuring the real-life alternative rock band The Aquabats. The Aquabats were born in 1994 as a fun alternative to Southern California's harsh punk rock scene and have gained a legion of fans with their ska-inspired music and theatrical stage shows.
