Prosecutors told jurors Torres died of environmental suffocation when he lay in a suitcase for at least 11 hours. Next, the jury shifted their attention to the physical evidence prosecutors believed proved Boone killed her boyfriend. This testimony came from the DNA analyst assigned to this case.
