Sue Wyche claimed her daughter was afraid to divorce her husband. After Wyche wrapped up her testimony to jurors the defendant took the stand in her own defense.

Opening statements began in the State's case against Susan Wright. She was accused of stabbing her husband. She pleaded not guilty by reason of self-defense.
