Just like the prosecution team, the Defense performed literal demonstrations in front of the jury using Dr. Dwayne Wolf. Next, a peace officer took the stand. Jurors saw her Crying When Dr. Dwayne Wolf detailed the nearly two hundred stab wounds that ended the Life of her husband, Jeff. Diagrams were used to explain to the jury each of the 193 Knife wounds found on Jeff's Body-including 46 wounds to his chest.

Opening statements began in the State's case against Susan Wright. She was accused of stabbing her husband. She pleaded not guilty by reason of self-defense. The defendant admitted to the fatal stabbings. But for jurors the questions would be - was this a case of cold-blooded murder or a desperate act of self-defense?
