The Philadelphia 76ers will head on the road tonight to take on the Memphis Grizzlies at FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. The 76ers are 42-35 this season and trying to make their way back into the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference to avoid the play-in tournament. Right now, sitting at the No. 8 seed, they are one game back from the Miami Heat at No. 7 and 1.5 games back from the Indiana Pacers at the No. 6 seed. With Joel Embiid back healthy and Tyrese Maxey going back to the Robin role instead of trying to be Batman, the team is clicking on all cylinders. They actually took down the Heat in Miami earlier this week 109-105. Maxey had a team-high 37 points with nine rebounds and 11 assists leading the team in all categories. They also took down the Oklahoma City Thunder in the previous game by four points with 25 points from Kelly Oubre Jr and seven assists from Joel Embiid.

The Grizzlies are 27-50 overall this season and have been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention in the Western Conference. They are behind the Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets in the No. 11 and 12 spots. They have won three straight games though since the beginning of April beating the Detroit Pistons twice and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Ja Morant leads the team in scoring this season averaging 25.1 points per agme with 5.6 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game. He is followed by Jared Jackson Jr. who averages 22.6 points and 5.5 rebounds with 2.3 assists per game for Memphis.
