The Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals square-off at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday to decide their three-game series.
The Milwaukee Brewers (21-14), who own the most road wins in MLB at 14, look to clinch their three-game series at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday afternoon against the Kansas City Royals (21-16). Milwaukee has lost three of five on its current six-game road trip, while the Royals are 2-3 on their six-game homestand. The Brewers, in a virtual tie with the Chicago Cubs atop the National League Central, won’t have left-hander Wade Miley, who underwent Tommy John surgery on Tuesday. The 37-year-old finished 9-4 with a 3.14 ERA in 23 starts while helping the Brew Crew to the NL Central title a season ago.
