The Panthers look to take a two-game lead on the Lightning when the two teams play on Tuesday night
The Flordia Panthers take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 2 of their playoff series on Tuesday night. The Panthers, who are coming off an Atlantic Division title, took Game 1 when they held off the Lightning 3-2. Sam Reinhart opened the scoring just six minutes into the game, but the Lighting would tie it 10 minutes later. The game would remain tied until Carter Verhaeghe scored just 58 seconds into the third period. Matthew Tkachuk would add an empty-net goal with two minutes left to put them up two. The Lightning would get a goal with 10 seconds left, but it wasn’t enough.

The Panthers can now take control of the series with another win on Tuesday night. A win would not only put them in control, but it would maintain home-ice advantage for the series.
The Lightning, though, are looking to even the series and steal away the home-ice advantage.
They will have to get more shots on goal if they want to do that, though. They managed just 19 shots in Game 1 compared to 28 from the Panthers.
With the loss in Game 1, the Lightning have now lost three of their four meetings with the Panthers this season.
