The San Antonio Brahmas (2-1) look to bounce back after their first loss of the season today against the Michigan Panthers (2-1). Both teams head into today tied for second place in their conference in an XFL versus USFL showdown in the UFL today. Heading into this game Michigan has the second-best defense in the league allowing just 18.6 points per game to opponents. Before San Antonio’s first loss of the season in week three to the St. Louis Battlehawks (31-24) had given up a total of 31 points in two games. They look to get back on track defensively and into the win column again in the first season of the UFL.

In the loss San Antonio struck first with a field goal, but St. Louis was not to be denied scoring back-to-back touchdowns to end the first quarter and start the second. From there the teams effectively traded scores until the end where St. Louis held on to the 31-24 win over San Antonio.
Chase Garbers has gotten off to an MVP-caliber start this season with 586 yards passing, six touchdowns and just one interception. He has a 70.8% completion percentage with efficient, quick passes that allow his playmakers to get down the field and make plays for one of the most dynamic teams in the league.
For Michigan, it has relied on the running game this season. Quarterback E.J. Perry leads the team with 102 yards on the ground and four touchdowns. He also has 587 yards through the air with two more touchdowns to lead the offense with his legs and his arm this season.
