Fantasy Football: Optimal DFS Lineup for Week 15

Week 15 of the NFL season is here and so is another opportunity to gain some traction in your DFS lineups with this optimal lineup.

With most regular fantasy football leagues in the playoffs, this is a great opportunity for you to still get in the action even if your team isn’t playing for a trophy this season. You get the option of all the players in the NFL in this full-slate lineup. Last week, we did not do well having four players score under 10 points. No one was on fire, and we were led by Brando Aiyuk, who had 20.60 points. Here is our revamped DFS lineup for this week.

QB: Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers – $6,800

Outside of Dak Prescott, there has been no quarterback as hot as San Francisco’s Brock Purdy. He has been the QB2 and QB6 in the past two weeks totaling 682 yards and six touchdowns with one interception. He has had back-to-back 25-plus point games and gets arguably the easiest defense in the NFL this week.

RB: Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals – $4,800

Chase Brown went from never seeing a snap to breaking into the top ten running backs last week. He ran nine times for 61 yards against Jacksonville in his first big appearance of the season totaling just 6.10 points. However, last week, he ran eight times for 25 yards and caught three passes for 80 yards and a touchdown.

RB: Jamhyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions – $6,700

Jahmyr Gibbs, despite the return of David Montgomery, has been putting up big numbers in his last two games. Specifically against a bad rush defense in Chicago last week, Gibbs ran 11 times for 66 yards and a touchdown catching three passes for 16 yards in the loss. He will get to double down on the 17-point performance with the Broncos this week.

WR: Brandin Cooks, Dallas Cowboys – $5,200

Brandin Cooks has been a staple in this Cowboys’ offense over the previous six weeks despite being the third option on the team. In the last three weeks, Cooks has surpassed 15 points in two of the three. Despite getting a hard-nosed Bills defense this week, Cooks could get back to those numbers.

WR: Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens – $5,700

With Mark Andrews, Lamar Jackson’s favorite target, out, Zay Flowers has stepped up and been a huge producer in this offense. In the last two weeks, which were split up by a bye week, Flowers had 11 receptions for 85 yards and two touchdowns with 37 rushing yards and another touchdown. He has gone over 20 fantasy points in two straight games.

WR: Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers – $4,800

This start will be solely dependent on whether he plays or not. However, if he plays, I would encourage him to be a must-start player. In the two weeks before he sat last week, he was the WR8 and WR13 totaling 48.00 fantasy points in those two weeks. He has 12 receptions for 165 yards and three touchdowns.

TE: Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals – $5,200

The two weeks before his bye week last week, Trey McBride was the TE7 and the TE3. He totaled 15 receptions for 149 yards and a touchdown. In the last four weeks he played, he has gone over 13 points in three of the four games. He could be in for another big game this week.

FLEX: Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $7,000

Rachaad White has now been a top 15 running back per week in seven of the last eight weeks. Specifically in the last two weeks, White had 19.60 points against the Panthers and 21.50 points against a good Falcons defense. He rushed 25 times for 102 yards and caught two passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.

DEF: New Orleans Saints – $3,800

The Saints’ defense demolished the Carolina Panthers last week scoring 24 points after totaling just six points in the previous three weeks. They will get another struggling offense in Tommy DeVito and the Giants this week.
