Fantasy Football Week 12 Optimal DFS Thanksgiving Lineup

Typically, these daily football article lineups would cover full slates from all the games Thursday through Monday. However, this week being Feast Week, DraftKings doesn’t give that option. As a result, we are going to give an optimal lineup for just Turkey Day with just three games being played. The Green Bay Packers take on the Detroit Lions at 12:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Washington Commanders taking on the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m., then ending with the San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks in the late night game. Here is my optimal lineup on Thanksgiving Day.

QB: Dak Prescott, Cowboys – $6,800

Ever since the Cowboys bye week in Week 7, Dak Prescott has been absolutely dominating. He has been QB1, QB2, QB3, and QB17 in that span with anywhere from 20.16 to 46.86 points per game. Outside of last week against a good Carolina defense, Prescott had thrown for an average of 370 yards with four touchdowns per game in the three weeks that he was a top three quarterback. He will get another weak defense and should have another dominant performance.

RB: Zach Charbonnet, Seahawks – $5,300

We have been waiting for Zach Charbonnet to get the opportunity to get the football for weeks. The Seahawks starter Ken Walker went down with an injury last week and Charbonnet saw all the remaining work. He took 15 carries for 47 yards and caught six receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown, scoring 12.90 fantasy points. With Walker being questionable this week, Charbonnet is a must start, even if Walker ends up going.

RB: David Montgomery, Lions – $6,300

David Montgomery has been a touchdown vulture over the first 11 weeks of the season scoring a touchdown in all but one game that he has played in. He has eight touchdowns in seven games and has gone over 100 yards rushing three times. First round pick Jahmyr Gibbs has been getting more work in recent weeks, but Montgomery should continue goal line work.

WR: CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys – $8,700

We talked earlier about Prescott being dominant, well his top receiver CeeDee Lamb has been dominant as well. In that three-game stretch where Prescott was a Top 3 quarterback, Lamb finished as the No. 1 or No. 2 receiver that week, averaging 11 receptions for 170 yards and one touchdown. Even in an off week last week, Lamb still had 16.50 fantasy points. He is worth the money.

WR: Jahan Dotson, Commanders – $4,600

Jahan Dotson was projected to be Sam Howell’s top receiver this season and that has not panned out. Through the first seven weeks, Dotson topped 10 fantasy points just once. However, from Week 8 until present, Dotson had gone under 10 fantasy points just once when he was held to zero. Dallas is a tough defense, but I still see him grabbing four passes for 50 yards and a touchdown.

WR: Jayden Reed, Packers – $4,200

Jayden Reed continues to be a steal for the price he is going for. He is Jordan Love’s favorite target and has pulled down three to five passes for 50+ yards and a touchdown in his last four to five games on average. He is a big play and red zone threat for Love and should continue to be a value option to get better players elsewhere.

TE: Jake Ferguson, Cowboys – $3,900

There are some talented tight ends in these games. I passed up on George Kittle and Sam LaPorta in favor of Jake Ferguson. Ferguson has had a down week the last two weeks against tough tight end defenses. The last time he played a defense like Washington he had 22 points on seven receptions for 91 yards.

FLEX: Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers – $7,000

Bradon Aiyuk will get a string of terrible defenses against wide receivers starting against the Seahawks. In his last two games he has had 14.50 and 26.60 fantasy points, grabbing five passes for 156 yards and a touchdown in his last game. His score last week was his first since Week 1 and he has now scored in back-to-back weeks.

DEF: San Francisco 49ers – $3,600

The 49ers are not the best defense playing today or the defense playing the weakest opponent. However, they are a value play and should be in for a low-scoring performance, especially if Ken Walker isn’t suiting up.
