Top 5 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 4

Players that are not owned or started are often overlooked. Here are five players that you need to be aware of before heading into Week 4.

Week 4 has arrived and it is that time to see who is not owned or often benched that can be a beneficial FLEX start this week. We didn’t go undefeated in our sleepers last week, but we did hit on Roschon Johnson and miss on Josh Reynolds. Here are the top five players that should be on your radar heading into Week 4 of the fantasy football season – even if you are 0-3. Our sleepers are determined by players that are under the average percentage of roster percentages across all fantasy football teams on ESPN and Yahoo, the top two platforms in the world.

Joshua Palmer, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

With the loss the Mike Williams tearing his ACL, the Chargers are left without their WR2. Last week, that spot was filled by Joshua Palmer. In jury 61% of snaps, Palmer was targeted seven times with four receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 16.5 yards per catch which is on par for the big-play threat role that Williams occupied. If he is able to capitalize with one of the best quarterbacks in football right now, Palmer could be in for some big weeks to come.

Rico Dowdle, RB, Dallas Cowboys

Rico Dowdle took the RB2 control of the Cowboys at the end of the preseason. As Pollard’s backup, Dowdle has been trying to sneak his way into fantasy relevance despite seeing just 14-20% of snaps per week. He has averaged five rushes per week with just over 20 yards per week. He is averaging over four yards per carry which is up with the best in the league. Last week, he made a case for his receiving abilities catching all three targets for 25 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love has been steadily climbing in fantasy rankings week after week as have his wide receivers. In three weeks, Love has been a top-six quarterback twice with over 500 yards and four touchdowns in those two big performances. Even in his “off” week, Love threw for 151 yards and three touchdowns. Love has made a case to be a starting quarterback even in the place of guys like Justin Fields and Trevor Lawerence until proven otherwise. He has also done all this without his top receiver, Christian Watson.

Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks

The stand-alone fantasy value of Zach Charbonnet is on the horizon and fellow back Kenneth Walker is all for it. Walker was seen waving off the coaching staff substitution to attempt to get Charbonnet his first touchdown of the season before Geno Smith threw it to Jake Bobo. Last week, Charbonnet rushed nine times for 46 yards averaging 5.11 yards per carry. The more work he sees, the better the coaching staff will view him, and the higher his fantasy stock rises. Get on the train now.

Tank Dell, WR, Houston Texans

Tank Dell has been climbing the heights of the receiver mountain since his pitiful Week 1 performance. Since Week 1, he has caught 12 passes on 17 targets for 217 yards and two touchdowns totaling 55.70 fantasy points in two weeks. With the great play of former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud continuing, Tank Dell should also continue to amass huge gains. He averaged 20.71 yards per target last week and has emerged as the team’s top deep threat.
