By this time in the season, you are in one of three areas in your fantasy football leagues. You are either one, somewhere between 6-0 and 4-2 and rolling high with a quality team and deep bench. Two, you are the opposite somewhere between 2-4 and 0-6 and debating whether you should give up. Lastly, you are somewhere in the middle deciding how you can get your team to the next level instead of falling further. behind No matter where you fall, there are always players not rostered after a week of football that will be worth a spot on your roster. Here are five of those guys.

Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
The rookie receiver for Kansas City started his year off on a roller coaster. Every other game he was above or below 10 fantasy points and couldn’t really be trusted in in a FLEX rotation. However, in the past two weeks, Rice has seen eight receptions on nine targets for 105 yards and a touchdown. He has 13.30 and 11.20 points for his first back-to-back games with double digits finishes. He could be in for another steady increase of workload in the coming weeks.
Keaontay Ingram, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Keaontay Ingram got healthy at the right time for this Arizona Cardinals offense. James Connor went down and ended up on IR last week with Demercado seeing the increased workload in his mid-game absence in Week 5. In Week 6, the Cardinals named Ingram their starter, but fantasy managers were still skeptical. Ingram finished with 10 carries for 40 yards and two receptions for 11 yards. It wasn’t a breakout performance, but he definitely saw more field than Demercado.
Kareem Hunt, RB, Cleveland Browns
When Nick Chubb went down with a season-ending injury, it was Jerome Ford that took over almost 100 percent of the workload. The team went to sign Kareem Hunt in the next week, but despite the signing, he didn’t get much involvement in the offense. After slowly getting more and more work, Hunt finally made the most of his time, rushing 12 times for 47 yards and a touchdown, while catching three passes for 24 yards. He has 16.10 fantasy points in 37 percent of the snaps.
Jordan Mason, RB, San Francisco 49ers
This free agent pickup would be solely skeptical. Christian McCaffrey, the 49ers star running back, went out of the game with an injury that caused Mason to be thrust into the limelight and get the majority of the carries. In just 24 percent of snaps, Mason ran five times for 27 yards and a touchdown. He had 10 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown in the blowout win the week before. If McCaffrey is forced to miss any time, Mason would immediately be FLEX starter valuable.
Sam Howell, QB, Washington Commanders
This is Sam Howell’s second time on this list and I hope fantasy managers get the hint and add him to their roster. Howell is the No. 12 quarterback on the year end has had 20+ fantasy points in each of the last there games finishing higher than QB8 in the last two weeks. Right now, Howell ranks over quarterbacks like Trevor Lawrence, Dak Prescott, Joe Burrow, and Geno Smith. His schedule does not get harder until after his bye week and could be a great plug-n-play for the next couple of weeks.
