Atlanta’s ace Spencer Strider will be back on the mound for his second start of the season. The right-hander went 5.0 innings against the Philadelphia Phillies in the team’s opening series, giving up two earned runs on three hits while striking out eight batters and conceding two walks on 90 total pitches.
Chicago is undecided as to who will take the mound for the team is this game. However, the way the offense has been looking, whoever it decides to throw out there will need to pitch a great game to lift this team to just its second win of the season.
