The Seattle Mariners go for a fifth straight win and the series win against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.
The Seattle Mariners (10-10) are starting to find a rhythm this season after a slow start. They have won four straight games and the first game of this series with the Colorado Rockies (4-16) after the first game was delayed. Now the teams will play a double-header Sunday to close out the series with the first game in the afternoon and an intermission before the second game later tonight. Heading into this game Colorado has lost six straight and eight of the last 10 games, sinking to the bottom of the National League West, the NL and is just a game out of last place in MLB.

Seattle sends right-hander George Kirby (2-2) out for his fifth start of the season to keep the winning streak alive. He has ended every start this season with a decision, pitching 20.1 total innings with 19 strikeouts and 15 total earned runs allowed as one of the key pieces in the teams rotation.
In the first game of the series Seattle cruised to a 7-0 win over Colorado. They peppered runs in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings to build up an insurmountable lead. As a team Seattle finished with 16 hits in the win, putting on one of its best overall performances of the season.
Cal Raleigh got the offense started with a solo home run in the second inning, followed by a hard single that brought in another run in the third inning. He handed the offense over to Julio Rodriguez who drove home a run in the fourth inning and then another single to bring in the final run of the game in the fifth inning.
