NFL Power Rankings After Week 10

Chaos continued in the NFL in Week 10 as the Ravens, Bills and Bengals all suffered upset losses. The Lions went on the road and got another huge victory and so did the 49ers. The Colts/Patriots and Raiders/Jets games combined for 44 total points in a depressing display of offense. Finally, the Cardinals picked up a win in Kyler Murray’s season debut.

So how did this affect the NFL Power Rankings? Let’s take a look and find out.

1. Philadelphia Eagles 8-1

Last Week 1

The Eagles were on by this past week and they head into the second half of their schedule a game up on the Lions for the top spot in the NFC.

2. Baltimore Ravens 7-3

Last Week 2

We are keeping the Ravens in the second spot despite their last-second loss to the Browns. We just can’t ignore their blowout win over the Lions. They will need to win this weekend, though, if they want to stay here.

3. Detroit Lions 7-2

Last Week 3

The Lions went out west and picked up a huge win over the Chargers. The defense still needs to get better, but this team is a real threat to win the NFC.

4. Kansas City Chiefs 7-2

Last Week 4

The Chiefs were also on bye this past weekend and thanks to the loss by the Ravens and Jaguars they sit a game up in the loss column for the top spot in the AFC. They stay at four, though, because of their loss to the Lions earlier this year.

5. Miami Dolphins 6-3

Last Week 5

The Dolphins had a bye as they look to bounce back from their loss to the Chiefs in Germany. They haven’t been able to beat a team with a winning record. Luckily for them, their next five games are against teams currently under .500.

6. San Francisco 49ers 6-3

Last Week 8

The 49ers snapped their three-game losing streak with an impressive win over the Jaguars. They needed that win as they have a tough three-game stretch coming up. The 49ers look once again like a team to contend with in the NFC.

7. Dallas Cowboys 6-3

Last Week 8

The Cowboys basically had a bye week as they beat the Giants 49-17. It was the second win this year against the Giants and they outscored them 89-17 combined in the two games.

8. Cleveland Browns 6-3

Last Week 10

The Browns picked up the biggest win of the weekend as they came back to beat the Ravens 33-31. They lost to them earlier this year and needed this win. They are now tied in the loss column with Baltimore.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars 6-3

Last Week 6

The Jaguars saw their five-game winning streak go up in smoke in their 34-3 loss to the 49ers. It was not a good game, but they must regroup quickly as they have two straight divisional games coming up.

10. Houston Texans 5-4

Last Week 16

Maybe they are too high, but this team is fun to watch. CJ Stroud is killing it in his rookie year and they just went to Cincinnati and beat the Bengals. They are just a game back of the Jaguars for the AFC South lead.

11. Cincinnati Bengals 6-3

Last Week 7

The Bengals had their four-game winning streak snapped by the Texans and it has dropped them out of a wild card spot. It doesn’t get any easier this weekend as they travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers 6-3

Last Week 12

The Steelers just keep winning. They have been outgained in every game this year, but yet here they are 6-3 and tied in the loss column with the Ravens and Browns.

13. Minnesota Vikings 6-4

Last Week 13

Joshua Dobbs did it again as the Vikings beat the Saints 27-19 for their fifth straight win. After a horrible start, they now sitting in the last wild card spot in the NFC.

14. Seattle Seahawks 6-3

Last Week 15

The Seahawks fended off a pesky Washington Commanders team on Sunday and kept pace with the 49ers in the NFC West. They have a brutal schedule coming up as they play at the Rams, home against the 49ers, on the road against the Cowboys and 49ers and then back at home against the Eagles.

15. Denver Broncos 4-5

Last Week 19

Who would have thought the Broncos would be 4-5 after giving up 70 points to the Dolphins earlier this year, but here we are. It hasn’t been pretty, but they have no won three in a row and have a chance to prove a point on Sunday night when they take on the Vikings.

16. Los Angeles Chargers 4-5

Last Week 14

The Chargers lost yet another close game as the Lions came to town and beat them 41-38 to snap their two-game losing streak. It was their fourth loss this year by four or less points.

17. Buffalo Bills 5-5

Last Week 10

The Bills take a tumble after getting beat by the Broncos on Monday night. The Bills seemed to have won the game when Will Lutz missed a field goal, but too many men on the field gave them another shot and Lutz didn’t miss a second time.

18. New Orleans Saints 5-5

Last Week 17

The Saints lost to the Vikings on Sunday, but still sit in first place in the NFC South thanks to the Falcons losing. The Buccaneers are tied in the loss column, but they have one more win. The NFC South is a mess, but the Saints look like the best of the worst.

19. Indianapolis Colts 5-5

Last Week 20

The Colts went out to Germany and beat the Patriots in an ugly 10-6 game. It wasn’t pretty, but it was a win and it got them back to .500 on the season. A bye is up next before a home game with the Buccaneers and then they go on the road for two straight against the Titans and Bengals.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-6

Last Week 22

The Buccaneers finally got back in the win column as they dominated the Titans in a 20-6 victory. The loss snapped a four-game losing streak, but the schedule is tough as they have back-to-back road games at the 49ers and Colts.

21. Green Bay Packers 3-6

Last Week 24

The Packers move up despite losing to the Steelers because of how bad some of the other teams looked this past weekend. They have lost five of their last six, but have played better the past couple of weeks. They have a rough next three games as they play the Chargers, Lions and Chiefs.

22. Los Angeles Rams 3-6

Last Week 25

The Rams had a bye this past weekend and they hope the rest can help them snap a three-game losing streak. They get the Seahawks at home on Sunday.

23. Chicago Bears 3-7

Last Week 26

The Bears beat the Panthers on Thursday night to tie their win total from last season. Two straight road trips are up next as they travel to Detroit and Minnesota for big division games.

24. Las Vegas Raiders 5-5

Last Week 27

The Raiders got back to .500 with a second straight win on Sunday night. It wasn’t always pretty, but they have now won four of their last six games. The schedule gets tough now, though, as they hit the road to take on the Dolphins before a home game with the Chiefs.

25. New York Jets 4-5

Last Week 21

The Jets offense continued to struggle in a loss to the Raiders on Sunday night. The defense continues to keep them in games, but it hasn’t been enough. They travel to Buffalo next before a home game with the Dolphins.

26. Tennessee Titans 3-6

Last Week 23

The Titans offense struggled for a second straight week in a 20-6 loss to the Buccaneers. They have now lost four of their last five games and have fallen to last place in the AFC South.

27. Washington Commanders 4-6

Last Week 28

Another close loss for the Commanders and they have now lost six of their last eight games. They get the Giants at home this weekend and they have to win.

28. Arizona Cardinals 2-8

Last Week 32

Kyler Murray may not be the long-term answer, but this team is much better with him under center. They snapped a six-game losing streak on Sunday when they beat the Falcons 25-23. That win will move them up.

29. Atlanta Falcons 4-5

Last Week 18

Maybe this is too extreme of a drop, but they have now lost three in a row and two of those have come against the Titans and Cardinals. This team is still only a game out of first place in the NFC South and plays the Saints on Sunday. They have a chance to move into a tie for first, but they are going to have to play much better.

30. New England Patriots 2-8

Last Week 29

The Patriots are a mess right now. They went to Germany and lost to the Colts 10-6. They benched Mac Jones for the last drive and Bailey Zappe proceeded to throw an interception on a potential game-winning drive. They are not very good right now.

31. Carolina Panthers 1-8

Last Week 31

The Panthers are not very good either but stay out of the cellar because the Giants are just that bad. The Panthers have at least shown some fight in their games. It is tough this week, though, as they host the Cowboys.

32. New York Giants 2-8

Last Week 30

Somehow this team won a playoff game last year. They look like a shell of themselves this year and the offense is one of the worst in the league. They probably need to look at rebuilding as this season slips away.
